Join the Voice of Saskatchewan Cattle Producers The Saskatchewan Cattle Association (SCA) represents cattle producers across the province by advocating for a strong, sustainable, and profitable beef industry. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and service-oriented Office Administrator to support our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Position Summary The Office & Financial Administrator plays a central role in supporting SCA's daily operations. This position provides administrative, financial, and organizational support to the CEO, staff, and Board of Directors while delivering exceptional service to members and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Administration

- Complete all tasks related to financial operations and reporting including preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Assist with management of employee benefit plans.
- Manage entries and reporting for check-off levy remittances including liaison with remitters.
- Support budget development, monitoring, and forecasting.
- Assist with preparation and support the annual audit.
- Work with external financial service providers as required.

Office Administration

- Manage day-to-day office operations and maintain an organized, efficient workplace.
- Serve as the primary contact for phone calls, emails, and producer inquiries.
- Maintain database and filing systems.
- Oversight of information and technology systems.

Executive and Board Support

- Provide administrative support to the CEO.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars.
- Prepare agendas, meeting packages, and record meeting minutes.
- Coordinate Board of Directors meetings and committee meetings.
- Assist with governance documentation and records management.

Membership and Communications





- Maintain membership databases and records.
- Respond to producer and stakeholder inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support event registrations and member communications.

Events and Projects

- Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and producer events.
- Assist with travel arrangements for staff and board members.
- Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience.
- Proven experience overseeing financial and administrative operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), bookkeeping software (QuickBooks), payroll, and CRM/member management systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- A valid Saskatchewan driver's license is an asset.
- Knowledge of agriculture and the beef industry is an asset.

Pay: $39,229.80-$74,769.38 per year
