PART-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE OIL BAY TECHNICIAN

Valet Car Wash – Guelph North / Woodlawn

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Oil Bay Technician to join our team. Previous quick lube or oil change experience is preferred.

This is a hands-on position in a busy, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate should have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, valuable communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

POSITION DETAILS

- Part-time: approximately 15–25 hours per week
- Weekend availability is required — weekends are our busiest days
- Day shifts
- Wage based on knowledge and experience
- Overtime opportunities may be available

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

As an Oil Bay Technician, you will be responsible for keeping the oil bay running efficiently while providing safe, accurate, and friendly service to our customers.

Your typical shift will include:

- Performing oil changes and lube services in both upper and lower bays
- Safely lifting and positioning vehicles and following all required safety procedures
- Checking engine oil and other vehicle fluids and topping them up as required
- Replacing oil filters, wiper blades, air filters, and cabin filters when required
- Performing vehicle inspections and quality checks after services are completed
- Communicating with customers about the services being performed and any additional maintenance needs
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
- Keeping tools, equipment,



and the oil bay clean and ready for the next vehicle
- Completing daily checklists, reports, and required paperwork
- Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service
- Assisting with general duties during slower periods to keep the shop clean, organized, and operating efficiently

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous oil change / quick lube experience preferred
- Strong automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety
- Willing to go the extra mile for customers and the team
- Must be available to work weekends
