Waterloo Region District School Board is hiring on-call Supply Paraprofessionals! This role supports students’ educational experiences while working alongside dedicated educators in an ever-evolving environment. The WRDSB is looking for Supply Paraprofessionals—including Educational Assistants and Child and Youth Workers—who are prepared to provide essential support for students with various needs.

Those appointed will assist with behavioral and physical requirements, ensuring a secure and productive learning setting. The on-call structure allows for diverse work experiences across schools. Key Responsibilities:

- Aid students with special needs in all activities
- Collaborate effectively with school administration
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
- Document individual student needs and progress
- Complete required BMS and other training sessions Requirements:
- Educational Assistant or Child and Youth Worker credentials
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Completion of a physical demands test
- Successful criminal background check required
