Overview

ECEAssign is a specialized on-demand staffing network connecting local licensed child care centers with reliable educators. We provide daycares with last-minute supply staff to cover sick days and emergency openings. We offer a two-tiered system for our daycare partners, meaning we have open opportunities for both certified professionals and entry-level assistants:

- Tier 1: Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
- Tier 2: Early Childhood Education Assistants (ECEA) & Casual Support Staff (Uncertified but possess childcare experience)

Responsibilities to support daycare classrooms and centers

- Provide high-quality childcare tailored to each child's developmental stage and individual needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Support children with special education requirements by implementing personalized activities and accommodations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, parents and guardians when necessary, and team members regarding children's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe environment following all health and safety regulations
- Assist with classroom activities, lesson planning, and educational play that promote early childhood development
- Utilize computer skills to assist with document observations, update records, and coordinate schedules efficiently

Requirements

- Legally authorized to work in Canada as an independent contractor.
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Check (Criminal Record Check) issued within the last 6 months.
- Up-to-date Immunization Record (required by Public Health for childcare workers).
- Active ECE/ECEA Provincial Registry Certificate (Required only for Tier 1 applicants).
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (Asset).

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 30.0 per week
