Operations Manager – Global Operations (Shared Services)

We're exclusively partnering with a fast growing cleantech/infrastructure company looking to hire an Operations Manager who can bring structure, visibility, and disciplined coordination to a complex, global Operations environment.

If you’re an operations generalist who thrives on improving processes, and enabling teams to execute at scale—this is a role where you’ll genuinely make the organisation run better.

What You’ll Own

You’ll lead our Operations Shared Services team and act as the central coordination hub across Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Inventory, Fulfillment, Logistics, and Installations. You won’t run those functions day‑to‑day—but you will ensure work moves smoothly between them.

Your remit includes

- Leading and developing a distributed Shared Services team
- Managing work intake, prioritisation, capacity, and service delivery
- Maintaining operating visibility across requests, actions, risks, and dependencies
- Driving cross‑functional coordination and removing friction between teams
- Owning operational cadence reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and management updates
- Standardising processes, documentation, controls, and cross‑training
- Supporting automation, workflow improvements, and better use of ERP/CRM tools
- Coordinating selected initiatives that span multiple functions





What You Won’t Own This role enables execution—it doesn’t replace functional leaders. You won’t own supply‑chain strategy, inventory decisions, logistics execution, installation planning, or functional budgets. Instead, you’ll ensure clarity, follow‑through, and visibility across all operational boundaries.

What You Bring

- 5–8 years in Operations, Shared Services, Business Ops, Program Management, or Supply Chain
- Experience leading teams and managing recurring service requests
- Strong cross‑functional coordination skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Process‑improvement mindset with experience in SOPs, workflows, KPIs, and reporting
- Solid analytical skills and comfort with ERP/CRM tools (NetSuite preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Smartsheet, workflow automation, and AI tools
- Clear, concise communication and disciplined follow‑through
