Role Description The Oracle Cloud Payroll Consultant is a full time Hybrid role responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Payroll within client environments. This role includes translating business requirements into effective payroll solutions, performing end-to-end configuration and testing, and troubleshooting complex payroll issues. The consultant will collaborate with client stakeholders to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency, and will support integrations, reporting, and payroll-related analytics.

Day-to-day work involves managing enhancement requests, documenting configurations and processes, providing knowledge transfer and training to client teams, and contributing to implementation recovery and stabilization initiatives. The role also requires proactive communication, participation in project planning, and adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Payroll Services and Payroll Administration, including configuration and support of Oracle Cloud Payroll.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and present complex payroll concepts clearly.
- Experience with Employee Benefits as they intersect with payroll processing,



deductions, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM modules (Payroll, Time, Core HR) and related integrations, reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts), and testing frameworks.
- Proven ability to analyze payroll data, identify issues, and implement accurate, scalable solutions in fast-paced project environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage priorities independently, and maintain clear documentation and status reporting.
- Prior consulting experience or involvement in full-cycle HCM/Payroll implementations, optimizations, or stabilization projects is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

What you need

- At least one full-cycle Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation
- 3+ years of Canadian payroll experience
- Working knowledge of Canadian statutory payroll: CPP, EI, federal and provincial tax, ROEs, year-end
- Comfortable working directly with client payroll and HR teams
- Able to be onsite in the GTA as needed
