Out-of-School Care (OOSC) Educator – Elementary School

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic OOSC Educator to join our team at an elementary school-based Out-of-School Care program.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with school-age children, creating a positive and engaging environment, and planning fun and age-appropriate activities for children.

Position Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for elementary school-aged children in a safe, positive, and welcoming environment
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, arts and crafts, and other engaging programs
- Build positive relationships with children and support their social and emotional development
- Assist children with daily routines and transitions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe program environment
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with parents, guardians, and other staff
- Follow all centre policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with other educators and contribute to a positive team environment

Program Hours School Days: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM





Pro-D Days & School Breaks: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Qualifications The following qualifications are required:

- Responsible Adult, ECEA, or ECE qualification
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience working with children is required; experience with school-age children is an asset
