Part-Time Food Truck Cook – Festivals & Events

905 Hot Dog Pound is looking for an experienced, reliable cook to join our food truck team for festivals and events.

This is a part time position, primarily on weekends. We operate at busy festivals and large events, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include

- Cooking on a flat-top grill
- Operating commercial deep fryers
- Preparing burgers, hot dogs, sausages, fries, poutine, chicken and other menu items
- Handling multiple orders quickly during busy periods
- Food preparation and restocking
- Keeping the food truck and cooking area clean and organized
- Following food safety procedures
- Helping with setup and closing when required

Requirements:
- Previous grill and fryer cooking experience
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment




- Available primarily on weekends
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work long festival/event shifts when required
- Valid driver’s licence
- Must have your own vehicle/reliable transportation
- Must be able to travel to different festival locations
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working at festivals, outdoor events and in a busy food-service environment. Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Primarily weekends, with occasional weekday events

Location: Various festival and event locations
