Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our design team in Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you will work closely with our senior design and project management team on high-end residential projects, supporting various stages of interior design from concept and drafting to material sourcing and client presentation.

Eligibility Requirements (Mandatory)

- Education Status: Must currently be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution (e.g., Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field).
- International students do not qualify for this position as it is funding through a government grant program.
- Location: Must currently reside in and be located in Calgary, Alberta, with the ability to attend local meetings, site visits, and supplier visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the design team on custom residential projects from initial concept through finish selection.
- Assist in creating technical design drawings, floor plans,



and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Produce 3D renderings and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
- Source and specify finishes, fixtures, furnishings, tile, and materials in line with project scope and budget.
- Coordinate material samples and maintain supplier product links and resources.
- Assist with site visits and project administration as needed to ensure design execution aligns with plans.

Qualifications & Skills

- Active enrollment in a post-secondary Interior Design or Architectural program.
- Proficiency in digital design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape/V-Ray, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools).
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to visual and structural detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for high-end custom residential design, craftsmanship, and modern living.
