Air and Water Care is a locally owned HVAC and water treatment company proudly serving the Kitchener-Waterloo region and surrounding communities. We specialize in furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, water softeners, and reverse osmosis systems, helping homeowners stay comfortable with reliable service and honest advice.

Our team is built on a people-first approach, strong community values, and a commitment to doing things the right way. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time SEO Specialist to help improve our online presence and support our digital marketing efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, understands local SEO and website optimization, and wants to contribute to the growth of a local business.

Position Overview The SEO Specialist will support our website and digital marketing efforts by improving search visibility, optimizing content, and helping maintain our online presence across search engines and local listing platforms.

This position is part-time (8–10 hours per week) with flexible scheduling.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO & Website Optimization

- Optimize website pages for improved search engine visibility
- Conduct keyword research related to HVAC and water treatment services
- Write or improve SEO-focused website content, including service pages and blog posts
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with technical SEO tasks such as metadata, page structure, and internal linking





Local SEO & Listings
- Help manage and optimize our Google Business Profile
- Publish Google Posts and update promotions
- Monitor and respond to Google Reviews professionally
- Ensure consistency across local listing platforms

Content & Digital Marketing Support
- Assist with blog content ideas and SEO-friendly articles
- Support ongoing SEO strategies to increase organic traffic
- Help identify new keyword opportunities for our services
- Collaborate with our marketing team on digital growth initiatives

RequirementsQualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Wix, WordPress, or similar
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Reliable and consistent with weekly availability
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience with Google Search Console or Google Analytics
- Experience writing SEO blog content
- Familiarity with home services industries (HVAC, plumbing, water treatment)
