S&S; Transport is now actively searching for a Parts Co-Ordinator/Part time Dispatcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Create & lead all aspects of the Parts Department.
- Source, price, and order parts for trucks, trailers and eqipment.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize losses.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Work closely with our mechanics to identify parts needed for trucks & trailers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive pricing.
- Track orders, check incoming parts for accuracy, and handle returns, cores, and warranty parts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Assist with dispatching, driver communication, and daily scheduling.
- Help coordinate equipment repairs and keep trucks moving.

Skills & Experience:





- Trucking industry experience is required.
- Dispatch, parts, fleet, or maintenance experience is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined, product knowledge, and comfortable with truck and trailer equipment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong computer skills, and communication with the team.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
