Due to continual growth, we are on the search for an experienced Parts Technician who will be responsible for ordering, warehousing, inventory control, price quoting, and sales of parts while providing exceptional customer service!

KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS:

- Expert understanding of heavy-duty diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, air brake components, and all class 8 truck parts and components
- Answer phone calls, emails, and customer requests in a timely and appropriate manner to provide price quotes, sales, and technical information directly to customers
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.



Communicate with and support other dealership personnel and departments in a professional and efficient manner
- Responsible for daily processing of orders, back orders and customer communication
- Proficiency in reading and understanding wiring schematics, parts diagrams, supplier catalogues, and technical service bulletins
- Memory requirement for product codes, part numbers and placement within the warehouse
- Pull and fill orders from stock
- Notifies parts administrator of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
- Operate non-powered material handling equipment (dollies, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Responsible for cores, warranties and new part returns as per department policies and procedures with the support of the department manager
- Participate in all training and development programs that are made available and attend all department meetings
- Report all safety concerns and incidents to your Supervisor/Manager
- Maintain a professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Assist in maintaining Elite Support certification
- All areas of the department are clean, organized, and safe
- Shine maps are relevant and up to date
- 5S audits are completed monthly
- Cultivate a continuous improvement culture
- Other duties as required

QUALIFICATION &

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Must be sales driven, organized, and self-motivated
- 3 years of relevant industry experience, Journeyman preferred
- Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced workplace
- Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate department demands
- Ability to lift to approx. 60 Lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
