Chance:

The Patient Care Coordinator at Peak Oxygen is responsible for providing excellent patient care and services. This position will have a mix of patient and administrative interaction developing positive relationships with patients and associated stakeholders to ensure the patient is able to navigate the oxygen funding process effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Answering large volume of calls in a timely manner
- Conduct outbound calls to book appointments as required by government funding bodies
- Identify patient needs, clarify information and provide resolutions
- Create and update patient electronic files
- Respond to Home Oxygen and Sleep inquiries providing appropriate solutions for patients and other healthcare professionals
- Build and maintain professional relationships with patients, referral sources, hospitals and funding agencies
- Troubleshooting Oxygen equipment malfunction calls and scheduling appointments when necessary




- Processing POS payments for monthly billing

Qualifications:

- High school diploma
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a medical office or home care setting
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma or relevant
- Post-Secondary in a related field
- Experience with MedAccess or Telus InputHealth

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
