Aviora Healthcare is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to support a client in Aurora, ON.

Position

Personal Support Worker (PSW)

? Aurora, ON

? Part-Time (Approx. 30 hours/week)

Responsibilities

- Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and pericare
- Support safe mobility and wheelchair assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transfers and ensure client safety during movement
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior
- Maintain skilled communication with care coordinators and family members
- Follow individualized care plans and client routines

Requirements




- PSW Certificate or equivalent caregiving experience
- Experience supporting clients with mobility limitations preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
- Vulnerable Sector Check preferred
- Strong communication, compassion, and professionalism
