Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing companionship, emotional support, and engaging social interactions.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities meticulously.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary to promote health and well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals, and document observations thoroughly.




- Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and assistance throughout activities outside the home or facility.

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued.
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols is preferred.
- Proven caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals’ independence and dignity.
- Experience performing household chores such as cleaning and meal preparation within a home care setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards related to home care or institutional environments is beneficial.

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
