Pawsitive Luxury Inc. is hiring a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker with FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY!

The successful candidate must have flexible availability that includes consistent weekend availability.

MUST:

- Have your own, reliable, insured vehicle and valid class 5 licence. Work is completed from each client's home and Pawsitive Luxury Inc. services all areas of Fort McMurray

-Truly love animals and be confident around animals of various species and sizes.
- Be reliable and have a flexible schedule
- Be able to provide a recent and transparent criminal record check
- Submit your application with both a resume and a cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit for the position

Duties

- Provide daytime check-ins and dog walking from the client home
- Feed and water pets according to specified schedules
- Administer medication or treatments as instructed by pet owners
- Take dogs for walks and engage in different forms of physical and mental enrichment
- Clean accidents, litter boxes, and cages as needed
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report to management and owners




- Follow specific instructions provided by management and pet owners regarding care and routines
- Provide a detailed written report and pictures to each client after each appointment

Skills & Requirements

- Knowledge of basic pet care and handling techniques
- Ability to handle different types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small animals
- Comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes and with various temperaments
- Treat every animal with the compassion, patience, decency, and respect that it inherently deserves
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the well-being of pets under your care

Job Types: Casual, Full-time Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
