We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. This position is based in a clinic setting and requires expertise in pediatrics and acute care. We have chiropractors, massage therapists and a naturopathic doctor. We all work as a team to help patients to meet their health goals.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals
- Implement various physiotherapy techniques and modalities to promote healing and pain relief
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper exercises, stretches, and techniques for self-care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy principles, techniques, and practices
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to provide compassionate care and establish rapport with patients of all ages
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans to patients and their families
- Robust problem-solving abilities to address complex patient cases
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Master's degree or bachelor of science in Physiotherapy
- Valid license or registration as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
