Escarpment Sports Medicine Centre is a busy Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic with an exceptional multidisciplinary team including Orthopaedic Surgeons, Registered Physiotherapists, Chiropractor, Registered Massage Therapists and a Certified Pedorthist.

We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic physiotherapy assistant to join our team. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a robust, positive team player. Key Responsibilities

- Assisting physiotherapists with treatment components including exercise prescription, taping, and modalities as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of physiotherapy gym space
- Brace fitting - custom braces eg ACL, shoulder slings, cooling units, soft braces (ankle/knee/wrist/elbow)
- Helping with on-site laundry




- Monthly brace inventory and ordering
- Communicating with reps from various brace companies
- Basic front desk duties eg booking appointments and taking payments
- Creating exercise sheets for patients and emailing/printing them
- Helping with content for social media account

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from an established PTA/OTA program or candidates with a background in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology/Strength & Conditioning. An athletic background, or working with sports would be a bonus !

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
