Location: Prosserman JCC, 4588 Bathurst Street, North York ON (Bathurst and Sheppard)

Rate: From $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Employment Type: Part-Time / Full time Opportunities

Shifts Range:

Morning: 5:00 AM–1:00 PM

Mid-Day/Afternoon: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM

Evening: 5:00 PM–10:00 PM

At your core, you’re a community connector who enjoys helping people and creating positive experiences. You are friendly, approachable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service in a busy community environment. An appreciation for Jewish culture, traditions, and a connection to Israel is reflected in your interactions with members, guests, and colleagues.

Our Membership team is often the first point of contact for members and guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and inclusive experience at the JCC. Depending on the opportunity, responsibilities may include:

- Welcoming and assisting members and guests.
- Providing information about JCC programs, services, memberships, and events.
- Responding to general inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.




- Supporting membership sales, tours, introductions, and new member onboarding.
- Promoting JCC programs, classes, services, and special events.
- Assisting with general front desk and administrative responsibilities.
- Helping members and guests navigate the facility and access available services.
- Addressing questions or concerns professionally and escalating when appropriate.
- Supporting communication and smooth transitions between team members and shifts.
- Staying informed about JCC programs, events, and community initiatives.
- Participating in JCC programs and events and contributing to a positive community experience.
- Performing other membership and customer service duties as required.

What do you bring?

- Superior customer service skills
- At least one year in a customer facing role
- Excellent oral and written communication in English (Hebrew or Russian is an asset)
- A positive and optimistic approach in problem solving and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong technological skills and ability to support members who need guidance
- Commitment to the mission of the JCC and comfortable working for a non-profit organization
- A passion for serving in the Jewish community
