Pre-Owned Sales Manager

North Hill Mazda, Calgary – AB

Compensation: $100,000

As the Pre-Owned Sales Manager at North Hill Mazda, you will be responsible for driving pre-owned sales volume and profitability while maintaining the dealership's standards for customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, appraise, and price pre-owned inventory to maximize turn and margin
- Manage trade-in appraisals and negotiate acquisition pricing
- Set and monitor inventory levels, aging, and reconditioning timelines
- Recruit, train, and manage the pre-owned sales team
- Set individual and team sales targets; track performance against goals
- Review and approve deals, ensuring proper structure and profitability
- Partner with the finance department to support F&I; penetration on pre-owned deals
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform inventory and pricing decisions
- Maintain relationships with auction houses, wholesalers, and other acquisition sources
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and provincial/federal regulations
- Monitor and improve CSI scores related to pre-owned sales




- Report on department performance to dealership leadership

Qualifications

- Previous experience in automotive sales management required (pre-owned experience strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Experience with vehicle appraisal and pricing tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., PBS, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)
