POSITION SUMMARY:
The Premium Supervisor plays a key leadership role during our event operation in delivering a world-class hospitality experience within Rogers Arena's premium spaces, including Suites, Clubs, and other exclusive hospitality areas. You will lead and develop event staff, foster a culture of accountability and teamwork, and ensure exceptional food and beverage service standards are consistently executed. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who can motivate teams, resolve challenges proactively, and create an outstanding experience for every guest. KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of premium service staff during events.
- Provide real-time coaching, guidance, and recognition to promote exceptional performance.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members.
- Promote workplace safety,
professionalism, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
- Deliver and uphold premium hospitality and service standards.
- Ensure guests receive timely, attentive, and personalized service throughout the event.
- Act as a primary point of escalation for guest concerns and service recovery situations.
- Build positive relationships with suite holders, premium members, and guests.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience.
Operations & Execution:
- Oversee pre-event, event, and post-event operations within assigned premium areas.
- Ensure food and beverage presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with culinary, warehouse, operations, and guest experience teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor staffing levels, workflow, and service delivery throughout events.
- Complete event reports, incident documentation, and other administrative responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, food and beverage, fine dining, premium hospitality, hotels,
or a related service industry.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to remain calm, qualified, and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Valid Serving It Right certification.
- Must have flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to working Vancouver Canucks home games and other assigned events
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, and withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
