Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Printing Press Operator specializing in operating the high-precision SM 74 Heidelberg 5-color press with coater. Duties

- Set up, operate, and monitor the SM 74 Heidelberg 5-color printing press with coater, ensuring optimal performance throughout each production cycle
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the press to prevent downtime and maintain high-quality output
- Adjust press settings based on job specifications, including color calibration, registration, and coating application
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to coordinate print jobs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
- Manage material handling tasks such as loading paper stock using forklifts and organizing supplies within the warehouse or production area
- Perform quality checks during production runs, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize waste and rework




- Maintain accurate documentation of production data, machine logs, and quality reports for continuous improvement

Requirements

- Proven experience operating printing presses, preferably with knowledge of Heidelberg or similar equipment
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on printing machinery
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation for material handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, packaging procedures, and machining techniques related to print production
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure consistent print quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency
- Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings is highly desirable
