Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planning & Ticketing Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the seamless coordination of production schedules and ticketing operations, ensuring timely delivery of products and efficient management of ticketing processes. Your expertise in demand planning, ERP systems, and supply chain management will drive operational excellence, support manufacturing workflows, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Core responsibilities

- Create production tickets/work orders for all manufacturing runs.
- Verify style, size, last, leather, sole, construction, hardware and finishing specifications before release.
- Ensure BOMs and production specifications are correct.
- Group orders into efficient production runs.
- Maintain the production schedule.
- Prioritize wholesale, DTC, NYC, MTO, collaborations and product launches according to agreed deadlines.
- Coordinate with Materials & Inventory before releasing tickets.
- Release production tickets to the appropriate departments.
- Track WIP throughout the factory.
- Maintain accurate status for every active production order.
- Monitor production against planned completion dates.
- Identify bottlenecks and overdue orders.
- Communicate schedule changes to production leads and management.
- Close completed production tickets and investigate discrepancies between planned and actual quantities.
- Track rework, rejects and incomplete pairs.




- Maintain historical production information to improve future planning.
- Produce a weekly production report showing planned, WIP, completed and late units.

KPIs Production-ticket accuracy 99%+; on-time production completion; schedule adherence; WIP aging; production lead time; tickets requiring correction/reissue; planned pairs versus completed pairs; and production delays caused by ticketing/planning errors.

Profile

2–5 years in production coordination, manufacturing planning, scheduling or similar work. Exceptionally detail-oriented and comfortable managing hundreds of SKUs/configurations. Footwear or apparel manufacturing experience would be particularly useful.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Solid understanding of demand planning, MRP processes, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with production scheduling tools and ticketing management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments and external partners.
- Knowledge of supply chain management practices and inventory control techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
