Information about the Programme Leader role:

Emeritus is seeking a Pogramme Leader in People Strategy in the Age of AI for Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education. The Programme Leader is a subject matter expert that serves as the front-line academic support for learners in the course, supporting the delivery of a high-impact, 6 weeks online program.

The Programme

Leader or candidates must have industry experience and demonstrated knowledge of the course subject area; They will guide learners through complex topics like AI-people strategies, governance frameworks, and ethical challenges in real-world human resources contexts.

This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. This is an independent contractor position in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Programme Leader include but are not limited to:

- Facilitate weekly office hours and moderate required discussion boards.
- Moderate and guide learner engagement during faculty live sessions.
- Support learners in synthesizing live session content delivered by the faculty (e.g., AI tools in human resources, organization development, talent etc.).




- Assist with capstone assignment challenges and grading assignments.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to improve engagement and comprehension.
- Monitor learner progress and provide support or escalation as needed.

Qualifications for the role:

- 7-10+ years in People/HR Strategy, organizational development, workforce transformation, talent strategy or HR management consulting with experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degrees in HR, psychology, business with an advanced degree or studies in AI or a related field.
- Proven experience understanding how AI is changing hiring, talent management, work design, workforce capability and organizational transformation.
- Practical understanding of generative AI, AI-enabled workflows, automation and how AI changes jobs, skills, organizational structures and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and technology strategy into workforce plans including skills strategy, job redesign, talent development, operating models and organizational design.
- Proven experience helping organizations adopt new technologies and ways of working, including change management, employee engagement, communications and leadership enablement.
- Proven experience using workforce data and people analytics to identify skill gaps, measure AI adoption, productivity and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Familiarity with AI governance and the people implications of AI, including fairness, privacy, transparency, employee trust and responsible deployment.
- Solid ability to advise business leaders and work across all business units.




- Experience supporting executive or mid-career professionals in continuing education is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills with an ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while working with a diverse population.
- Ability to translate content into actionable insights.
- Empathetic and learner-centered approach.
- Comfortable in an online environment, navigating LMS platforms (Canvas), Zoom, Slack, or similar environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage weekly cycles of engagement and support.

Program Description and Context:

The People Strategy in the Age of AI programme from Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education is a practical six-week online programme that helps HR leaders and people professionals like you build AI strategies and redesign work, talent systems, workforce strategy, governance and human–AI collaboration. Rather than treating AI as a stand-alone technology initiative, the programme equips you to lead responsible AI adoption, redesign work for human–AI collaboration and build organisational capability for sustained change. By the end of the programme, you will have developed a practical transformation road map to support responsible AI transformation, governance and long-term organisational capability.

- Duration: 6 weeks (estimated learner commitment: 4–5 hours/week).
- Structure: Blend of asynchronous Canvas activities and live Zoom sessions.
- Target Audience: Mid- to senior-level Human Resources professionals and leaders seeking to integrate AI into people strategies.
