CGI Montreal is looking for a Project Controller (PCO) who is passionate about project performance tracking, data analysis, and the continuous improvement of project management tools and practices. In this role, you will support Project Managers in planning, monitoring, and controlling project costs, schedules, and scope. Your future duties and responsibilities

- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deadlines for the Business and Technology group's work program against forecasts
- Document advantages realized from projects, initiatives, and value streams
- Standardize and publish performance indicators through dashboards
- Record project expenses and track timesheets
- Support squad members in adopting a collaborative work culture and effective project delivery practice
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations
- Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Implement data transformation and modeling techniques to optimize reporting capabilities
- Deliver training sessions to team members on Power BI usage and best practices
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI-related issues
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards




- Apply data visualization and report design best practices to enhance the user experience

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

- University-level diploma in Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Controller (PCO) role
- Strong knowledge of PMBOK principles or other recognized project management methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, particularly for the integration and monitoring of multiple project plans
- Proficiency in Power BI (dashboard design, data modeling, and data transformation) and knowledge of data visualization best practices
- Strong teamwork skills, a high sense of accountability, attention to detail, commitment to quality and deadlines, analytical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability to change
- PMP certification will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken, written) and functional English proficiency

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 50 000$ et 100 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
