Construction Estimator / Project Coordinator – Tile & Flooring

Evergreen Tile & Flooring is a growing commercial tile and flooring contractor serving the Lower Mainland. We work with general contractors on commercial, multi-family, retail, and institutional projects throughout B.C.

We are looking for an organized and motivated Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our team and work directly with the owner. This is a hands-on role involving both estimating recent opportunities and helping coordinate projects after award.

Responsibilities

- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Complete quantity takeoffs for tile and flooring scopes
- Prepare estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
- Request and review supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential project risks
- Follow up with general contractors on submitted bids
- Coordinate awarded projects from handoff through completion
- Prepare and track purchase orders, work orders, and change orders
- Coordinate material orders, samples, submittals, and deliveries
- Communicate with project managers, site superintendents, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Track schedules and upcoming project requirements
- Attend occasional site visits and project meetings
- Maintain accurate project and estimating records
- Assist with developing relationships with new and existing general contractors

What We’re Looking For




- Construction estimating or project coordination experience preferred
- Experience in tile, flooring, or another finishing trade is a strong asset
- Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Strong computer skills
- Bluebeam experience is an asset
- Experience with construction/project management or CRM software is an asset
- Valid driver's licence
- Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects

Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000–$75,000 annual salary, based on experience

Schedule & Location This is primarily an in-office position based in Port Coquitlam, Monday through Friday, with occasional site visits throughout the Lower Mainland.
