Canadian Erosion & Containment Ltd. (CEC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of environmental, civil, industrial, and oil & gas projects across Western Canada.

This is a leadership position responsible for managing projects ranging from $5,000 service calls to $7 million industrial construction projects. The successful candidate will work directly with ownership and operations teams to deliver projects safely, profitably, and efficiently.

We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and can successfully manage multiple projects, crews, clients, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets simultaneously.

Project Types The successful candidate will manage projects including:

- Geomembrane liner installations
- Water containment systems
- Landfill construction
- Stormwater ponds
- Oil & gas facility projects
- Earthworks and grading
- Environmental containment systems
- Hydroseeding and reclamation
- Erosion and sediment control
- Retaining wall systems
- Rock retaining walls
- Irrigation installations
- Commercial landscaping
- Radon mitigation projects
- Municipal infrastructure projects
- Mining and industrial site development

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Manage projects from awarded contract through final completion
- Develop project schedules, execution plans, and budgets
- Monitor project costs and profitability
- Manage change orders and client communications
- Track progress, production, and forecasting
- Ensure project targets are achieved

Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships




- Attend site meetings and progress reviews
- Identify and pursue opportunities for additional work

Operations Management
- Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials
- Work closely with Foremen and Superintendents
- Plan project mobilizations and logistics
- Support project estimating and bid reviews
- Ensure resources are efficiently allocated across projects

Financial Management
- Prepare and review budgets
- Monitor project costs and margins
- Review payroll and equipment utilization
- Manage invoicing and progress billings
- Support monthly forecasting and reporting

Safety Leadership
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Ensure compliance with company and client safety requirements
- Participate in incident investigations when required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives

Experience & QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5-10 years of Project Management experience
- Experience managing construction projects valued up to several million dollars
- Strong understanding of construction contracts
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

Highly Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Environmental construction
- Oil & Gas construction
- Geomembrane liner systems
- Civil earthworks
- Reclamation
- Hydroseeding
- Retaining walls
- Commercial landscaping
- Mining projects
- Municipal infrastructure

Additional Assets
- PMP Certification
- Gold Seal Certification
- CET, P.Tech, or Engineering background
- Estimating experience
- Contract administration experience

Pay: $61,093.53-$132,877.48 per year
