Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who can coordinate field operations, manage schedules, support project administration and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day activities for residential construction projects.
- Coordinate staff assignments, dispatch workers and oversee field teams.
- Monitor project progress, installation schedules and site activities.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients, field teams, suppliers, accounting and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and records.
- Work with the accounting team to review invoices, monitor expenses and track project costs.
- Monitor schedules of values, process change orders and support job billing.
- Prepare and upload project estimates.
- Create CAD drawings and cross-sections based on project specifications.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Participate in production meetings for current and upcoming projects.
- Identify schedule delays, service deficiencies and installation issues, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
- Prepare documentation for final inspections and coordinate required adjustments.
- Balance responsibilities between job sites and the office.
- Perform other reasonable and lawful duties as required.

Qualifications

- Experience in construction or field management.
- Experience in the curtain wall, windows or building-envelope industry is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Experience reviewing project costs, invoices,



schedules and change orders.
- Familiarity with CAD drawings and construction documentation.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence.
- Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.

Working Conditions

- Regular travel between the office and construction sites is required.
- Personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas, including a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed safety footwear.
- The role may involve exposure to cold, heat, humidity, dust and elevated noise levels.
- Travel and site work may be required in varying weather conditions.
