DESCRIPTION

THE JOB: Planning and scheduling maintenance, repair and overhaul activities

- Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and regulations
- Managing budgets, costs, and resource allocation
- Overseeing quality control and safety measures
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with the customer (DND) and stakeholders
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers and team members. Monitoring progress and performance and making necessary adjustments; nsuring the timely delivery of products and services,E-service support contract while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS

- Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, business administration, or project management, is required. A master's degree and relevant certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) may be preferred.

- Experience: Significant experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality.

Experience working in the defence industry or with military ground vehicles is a plus.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.

- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet the needs of the customer.

- Communication skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including customers, senior management, and team members.

- Project management skills: Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.

- Technical knowledge: A good understanding of technical systems and components used in military ground vehicles, as well as experience working with engineers and technicians to manage projects related to these systems.

- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.

- Attention to detail: Ability to work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that projects are executed to the highest standards.

- Adaptability: Ability to work in a quick-paced and demanding environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
