Trident Maritime Systems, LLC, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is currently recruiting a passionate Safety and Quality control skilled to join our dedicated outfitting team at our Vancouver, BC location.

This position will supervise and ensure occupational health and safety compliance, will develop, and help administer effective Health and Safety Programs, as well as perform Quality control checks on materials and installations in accordance with our ISO 9001-2015 certification

Duties & Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout shipbuilding and repair operations.
- Monitor work areas to ensure compliance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and project standards.
- Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet specified quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate QC/QA inspection records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Identify non-conforming work, materials, or processes and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
- Support internal and external audits and inspections.
- Report security incidents, unauthorized access, damaged equipment, or suspicious activity according to established procedures.
- Ensure security and quality documentation is properly controlled and maintained.
- Work closely with production, engineering, safety, security, and project management teams.




- Participate in investigations of quality or security-related incidents.
- Ensure deficiencies are documented, communicated, tracked, and closed in a timely manner.
- Follow all applicable company policies, shipyard procedures, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Perform other QC/QA and security duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

- 3 -5 years' relevant experience in a Quality Control AND Quality Assurance setting in a heavy industrial construction environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- First Aid Level 1, 2 or 3, WHIMIS, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform certification preferred.

Preferred Skills and Education

- Experience with Process Safety Management.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal and Provincial legislation for OH&S.;
- Knowledge of Confined Space & Hot Work Environments.
- Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
