This is a full time, permanent position for with a small-medium sized fast paced machine shop near Pearson Airport. Aerial Industries has been in business for 25 years, completing work primarily for the Defence, Oil and Gas and Aerospace industries. We are constantly expanding our workforce and are looking for a quality inspector to work our afternoon shift.

Hours:

- Monday to Thursday : 4:00 pm to 1:00am
- Friday : 1:30pm to 8:00pm
- Opportunity for overtime

Reports To:

- Quality Manager
- Owner of Company

Responsibilities:

- Inspect machined parts using a variety of manual inspection tools and gauges
- Perform in-process, receiving, and final inspections
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other duties as assigned

Experience and Requirements:





- Minimum 5 years of quality control inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Proficient with inspection equipment including height gauges, micrometers, pitch mics, bore gauges, and related tools
- Robust understanding of dimensional inspection practices and tolerances
- Ability to interpret GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Compensation : · Competitive hourly salary based on experience, including health benefits plan.
