Daybar Xpress Airdrie is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Technician in the commercial steel door & frame industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform inspections to ensure raw materials, components and finished products using various testing equipment to ensure compliance with quality specifications (using tools such as Calipers, jigs and standard tape measures)
- Reading and checking of work orders and engineering drawings.
- Document and tag all non-conformance parts.
- Fill in daily stock inspection reports and maintaining records of inspection.
- Identifying and resolving quality issues by collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve processes.
- Participating in internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems and standards and reporting it to the main office.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- All other duties as assigned by division manager

Qualifications Requirements: Must possess at least a high school diploma, and 2+ years experience as a Quality Control Associate in a manufacturing environment.
