Big West Ford is looking for a dependable and motivated Quick Lane Technician to join our Quick Lane Department.

This position is well suited to someone with previous lube bay or tire experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants to continue developing their skills in the automotive industry. You will work as part of a busy service team completing routine maintenance, tire services, inspections, and other light mechanical work.

We are looking for someone who works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in completing each job properly.

What You’ll Do

- Complete oil and filter changes and other scheduled maintenance services
- Perform tire rotations, repairs, mounting, and balancing
- Carry out basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance concerns
- Communicate inspection findings and recommended services to the appropriate team members
- Assist licensed technicians with service and repair work when required
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Follow dealership safety procedures and shop standards
- Support the Service Department with additional duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a lube bay, tire shop, or similar automotive environment
- Comfortable working in a busy, physically active shop




- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous dealership experience is an asset
- First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certification are considered assets
