Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through effective teaching and communication. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children with disabilities, in a collaborative and supportive setting.

The RECE will play a vital role in fostering early childhood development and ensuring positive learning experiences.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and classroom routines aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored strategies and accommodations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety policies.




- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.

Requirements

- Valid registration as an RECE or equivalent credential in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to operate basic computer applications for documentation and communication tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. This position is integral to providing high-quality early childhood education that supports each child's growth while fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
