Our industry continues to see rapid growth and there has never been a more exciting time to be a part of it! As a member of our logistics team you will be responsible for the following:
- Receive inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and care during handling
- Verify received items against purchase orders and special orders
- Organize and replenish stock of our meat and freezer departments
- Maintain a clean and organized backstock and receiving bay by properly managing storage areas
- Able to work in cold environments for prolonged periods of time.
- Weekly pickups from local vendors with company vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
Experience
- Familiarity with various inventory management systems software is preferred
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and load & unload processes required
- Basic math skills necessary for counting, inputting prices while correctly evaluating invoices, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices in packaging and order fulfillment
- Experience working with perishable items such as meat, dairy, etc is preferred.
