Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Periodontal charting
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software
- Support patients by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages cooperation and trust
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care delivery




- Maintain a clean, organized operatories environment adhering to infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions

Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the province of Ontario
- HARP certified
- Proven experience working in a dental office setting
- Proficiency with dental management software is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
