About ComForCare

ComForCare Home Care provides personalized home care and private duty nursing services to individuals and families across Saskatchewan. Our goal is to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while receiving high-quality care in the place they call home.

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a casual basis and provide private duty nursing services to clients in their homes and community settings.

Responsibilities

Depending on the client's individual care needs and the nurse's scope of practice, responsibilities may include:

- Providing one-on-one private duty nursing care in clients' homes

- Completing nursing assessments and monitoring changes in client condition

- Medication administration and medication management

- Wound care and dressing changes

- Injections and other prescribed nursing treatments

- Catheter and ostomy care
- Monitoring vital signs and chronic health conditions

- Supporting clients following hospitalization, surgery, or illness

- Providing palliative and end-of-life nursing support when required

- Developing, reviewing,



and following individualized care plans

- Educating clients and family members regarding care needs

- Maintaining accurate and timely nursing documentation

- Communicating with physicians, pharmacists, family members, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate

- Identifying and reporting changes in a client's health or safety

- Providing compassionate, respectful, client-centred care

Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing as an LPN or RN in Saskatchewan

- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Recent nursing experience is an asset

- Experience in home care, community nursing, senior care, palliative care, wound care, or complex care is an asset

- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

- Ability to work independently in a client's home

- Reliable, professional, compassionate, and client-focused

- Successful criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are preferred, depending on client location
