We are looking for a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join our growing pharmacy team at our Drug + Bean, Glendeer location.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who is interested in sterile compounding and enjoys working in a professional, collaborative environment. Previous sterile compounding experience is an asset.

As part of our pharmacy team, you will:
- Prepare sterile compounded preparations using appropriate aseptic technique
- Follow established master formulation records, procedures, and quality standards
- Complete compounding records, calculations, labels, logs, and other required documentation accurately
- Follow appropriate procedures for hand hygiene, garbing, cleaning, disinfection, material transfer, and contamination control
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and storage of compounding ingredients and supplies
- Monitor lot numbers, expiry dates, beyond-use dates, and storage requirements
- Participate in quality assurance activities and ongoing competency assessments
- Perform technical checks and other duties within the scope of practice of a Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and compliant sterile compounding setting
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, assistants, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with general pharmacy operations as required

What We're Looking For
- Registered Pharmacy Technician licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and patient safety
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to carefully follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in sterile compounding and willingness to complete required training and competency assessments

Assets
- Previous sterile compounding experience
- Experience with hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile compounding
- Familiarity with NAPRA sterile compounding standards
- Experience with sterile compounding quality assurance processes
- Community or specialty pharmacy experience
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software
