Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing, compounding and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate patient care, and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations.

Duties

- Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Compound Level A, B and C medications and ensure proper documentation of compounds

- Assist with and administer injections

- Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and verifying supplies

- Provide compassionate patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision

- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper medication storage and handling procedures

- Maintain detailed records of medication administration and patient interactions in accordance with healthcare regulations

- Requirements





- Valid registration as a Pharmacy Technician with relevant licensing or certification

- Prior pharmacy technician experience, preferably in compounding

- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing and recordkeeping

- Proven ability to deliver compassionate patient care and communicate clearly with diverse populations

- Ability to work efficiently in rapid-paced environments while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy

- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus.
