We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RPN to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and pain management.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and medication usage.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner for documentation and patient management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the medical office or healthcare facility.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.
Experience
- Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in hospice care, assisted living, or acute care settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in medication administration and pain management techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
