**Role Description The Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) will provide professional immigration advice and representation to clients across a range of programs, including study permits, work permits, visitor visas, permanent residence, and citizenship applications. A typical day involves conducting detailed consultations, assessing client eligibility, preparing and reviewing application packages, and ensuring all documentation complies with current immigration laws, regulations, and policies. The RCIC will monitor regulatory and program updates, communicate changes clearly to clients, and maintain accurate records and case files.

The role includes collaborating with team members,



liaising with government departments and other stakeholders when necessary, and contributing to internal process improvements. This is a full-time onsite/hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB, with a mix of in-office work and some flexibility to work f rom home.

Compensation $55,000 - $100,000 per year

Qualifications

- Active license as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
- Robust knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, policies, and procedures, including temporary and permanent pathways.
- Excellent client service skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and manage client expectations.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities for managing multiple files, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Comfort with using case management software, document management tools, and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office, online portals).
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and commitment to confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing regulations.
- Post-secondary education in law, immigration studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an immigration firm, legal practice, or related setting is an asset.**
