If you have a minimum of 3 Years Carpentry experience with primary finishing qualifications and are looking to broaden your skills, we are looking for you to join our team. Vortek Construction specializes in residential renovations, providing diversity in our projects with commitment to quality and excellence.

Position: Permanent Full time; Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 6:30pm

Major work areas: construction; renovations; abatement rebuild; and maintenance/repair for residential and commercial

Specific skills (including but not limited to):

- assist in construction and renovations of residential properties with direction;
- gather material needed for construction and renovations
- determine specifications and calculate material requirements; prepare layouts;
- measure; cut; assemble with wood, drywall and plaster materials;
- assist in installation of sheeting materials including sub floors, wall sheeting and various materials including suspended ceilings




- assist in assembly of doors, windows, trim, and mill work including hardware and painting
- build containments; remove, handle and clean hazardous materials

Essential Skills (including but not limited to):

MUST have: Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
