General Contractor seeking additional crew members to carry out renovations and current construction tasks.

Duties:

- Assist staff with demolition tasks
- Assist staff with framing walls, floors and ceilings
- Assist staff with hanging, taping and sanding drywall
- Assist staff with cutting and installing trim
- Assist staff with cutting and installing custom millwork including cabinets and countertops
- Assist staff with cutting and installing all types of flooring
- Assist staff with cutting and installing exterior cladding
- Assist staff with cutting and installing staircases and railings
- Assist staff with layout and constructing decks and fences
- Assist staff with installation of doors and windows
- Read and interpret permit drawings
- Troubleshoot issues with power tools and material installations
- Ensure quality workmanship with every aspect of the job

Schedule & Location:

- Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Rare early mornings, late nights, holidays, weekends when required
- Job sites up to 75km radius from Midland, ON
- Residential, Commercial and Institutional job sites

Requirements to be considered for the position:

- Valid G Class Driver's License
- Own reliable vehicle for travel to and from job sites
- Steel toe boots
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Minimum 1 year in construction or renovation setting
- Minimum 2 years using hand and power tools
