Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to provide exceptional guest service in a quick-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred.

The Restaurant

Server plays a vital role in maintaining sanitation standards, food safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting stations for new guests




- Address guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience with food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and provide excellent guest services
