Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns proactively
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve multiple tables effectively
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cashiering, and order accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a rapid-paced environment
- Basic kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through hospitality skills
