Duties

- Safely operate rock trucks to load, transport, and unload materials such as gravel, rocks, and other construction aggregates across various site locations
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of work zones by coordinating with team members for efficient material movement
- Collaborate closely with other heavy equipment operators such as dozers, excavators, loaders, graders to coordinate tasks seamlessly




- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment
- Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment when necessary and report any issues promptly for maintenance

Skills

- Experience operating heavy machinery including but not limited to rock trucks is an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting on heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license (CDL) with experience in heavy equipment transportation
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and best practices for heavy machinery operation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members across multiple equipment types

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 – 80.0 per week
