Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Roofer or Roofer Helper to join our construction team. This role involves working on residential and commercial roofing projects, assisting with installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Assist with the installation, repair, and replacement of roofing systems on various types of buildings
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws to cut and secure roofing materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency




- Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural repairs as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Qualifications

- Prior experience in construction, roofing, carpentry, or handyman work is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, blueprint reading, and caulking techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards
- Good physical condition with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
