Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Rough Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring that all framing work aligns precisely with blueprints and schematics. Your expertise will help lay the foundation for high-quality, durable structures, contributing to successful project completion.

This position offers an exciting chance to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your carpentry skills and heavy equipment operation experience to bring architectural visions to life.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately frame structures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing components using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or other machinery necessary for lifting and positioning large framing materials.
- Construct wall frames, floors, ceilings, roof trusses, and other structural elements following safety standards and project specifications.
- Perform concrete forming tasks and assist with concrete finishing when required.
- Install siding, drywall, or other exterior/interior finishing materials as part of framing projects.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the framing process to ensure precision and adherence to building codes.

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience




- $25 - $30 an hour (Depending on experiance)
- Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry or framing work.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, levels, chisels, and measuring tapes; familiarity with power tools is essential.
- Experience with concrete forming, drywall installation, siding work, welding or woodworking is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in challenging outdoor conditions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites and heavy machinery operation.
