Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team.

The Compliance

Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of compliance regulations, and the ability to develop effective training programs.

Duties

- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including but not limited to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Design, implement, and oversee transportation safety programs, policies, and procedures to minimize accidents and ensure safe vehicle operation.
- Ensure that drivers conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting issues as needed.
- Oversee and monitor driver compliance with hours-of-service (HOS) regulations and other transportation-specific rules.
- Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, or safety violations,



including interviewing witnesses, reviewing data, and gathering evidence.

Qualifications

- P*roven experience in safety, compliance, or operations management, preferably within the transportation or logistics* industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to our industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to develop effective training programs tailored to Employees and drivers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using compliance management software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team workplace.
