Job purpose The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing customer accounts and working closely with clients. Some duties include reviewing and composing correspondence, handling complaints or requests from customers, including processing returns. This position also provides the primary administrative support for the Coppley ladies’ wear program.
Duties and responsibilities
Ladies’ Wear
Administrative support for Coppley Ladies’ wear program, including managing marketing inventory, facilitating store rollouts, managing client lists and data analysis. Travel to stores in Canada and the US if necessary.
Inside Sales
- Liaison between sales reps and house
- Process seasonal and photography models
- Maintain Sales Reps A/R accounts and process their shipments.
- Organize internal employee sales, including sale of damages returned from retailers.
- Trunk Show administrative support
Custom
- Set up fabrics each season for custom ranges (Coppley).
- Set up pricing each season (Coppley, EA, SG).
- Set up alteration codes for custom “drop down” (Coppley, EA, SG) in AS400.
Returns and Alterations
- Responsible for the processing of all returns and alterations (Coppley and EA).
- Maintain log sheets and follow up on alterations as they are processed.
- Return alterations to retailers.
Other
- Monthly inventory count for the Cage, Showroom and DC.
- Comply with all Health and Safety legislation.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education is an asset.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other departments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Prior knowledge and use of AS400 is an asset.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of garments, measuring and fitting issues is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and set priorities.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport and be able to travel in Canada and the US.

Working conditions
- Office setting, fully on-site.
- Some exposure to a manufacturing environment.
Physical requirement
- Use of a computer and other office equipment.
- Frequent walking, sitting, standing.
- Occasional bending, lifting, and reaching, up to a maximum of 30 lbs (garment boxes, garments on rails, rolling racks, etc.).
- Able to climb stairs.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
